Eager to explore cemeteries, yet not always wanting to travel far after work, Andrew and I headed north from Steinbach on the #12, and encountered Caledonia.
Glen Klassen told us about this place. He says these are the graves of Scottish settlers of the Ross and Rosewood areas (this is on Rosewood Road, just off the #12).
Because we don’t know much about this place, this post is short on words but includes many photos. Explore with us!
The below stone says:
Caledonia Cemetery
est. 1891
Dedicated to the pioneers who settled in this region. Their foresight, courage, faith and love guided them as they paved the way for future generations. May they forever be remembered. Rest in peace.
